we get bored. don't feel like entertaining kids all day. so we drive a long ways.
sometimes its a good idea. this was pretty ok.
i've been really wanting a ostrich egg.....to eat, so we went to the Ostrich farm near Tucson. (i just learned there is one in Chandler). The Ostrichs weren't laying eggs- great. they lay them in the middle of the summer, when no one wants to drive to the middle of the desert.
(pics not in order) then we drove to Wilcox to go to a apple orchard. picked apples and pears. ORGANIC- only $1 a pound. (add in $100 for gas, not a smoking deal)
ostrichs are really mean, Trake wanted to see how mad he could make them, typical 10 year old.
and they have these birds. you can feed them nectar and they fly all around you.
and deer. thats it, you should go support the Ostrich Farm at Piccacho Peak. (it'll probably end up costing you $50 for 30 min though)
wagon ride at apple annies farm.
kids ate a good 4 apples each. when we got home....they did not. so if i have a apple tree, my kids will eat lots more apples.

i need to take my kids to a pumpkin patch or something, maybe that ride? where was is at?
trake and brynley look so alike.
when bryce was little he got pecked in the mouth by an emu, which is kind of like an ostrich, either way they both are mean.
