Ghetto Game room

Its not much to look at - I KNOW.
Its keeping me sane though.
I want to know where my kids are so its easier to have everyone at our house.
Eric was turning into the mean dad ....having 10-12 kids in the house all the time.

"can't I ever have peace and quiet", "don't you guys have your own house", on and on....
So we quickly converted the garage to a game room.
Put down some leftover carpet. Cleaned out our kids overcrowded rooms and threw in the TV.
The kids love it. I have all the crafts out there, some Christmas lights and exercise equipment.
My house is so much cleaner too.

when I was a kid...... we'd play outside in 115 weather ALL the time. Kids these days need to toughen up.
the freezer is stocked wih otter pops (I'm not springing for Popsicles when they eat 3 or 4 a day) they'll be ok.

My grandparents had a game room like that, we loved it!
I think kids like game rooms more chaotic. I am SO tired after reading your blog . Thanks for teaching Tyler swim :)
your game room looks better than my garage and there is no car or order in there (at all) Kudos for using it well. Poor Eric.
