FRAISER CHAIR

this chair was my grandpas for probably a really long time. he's been dead 7 years. we were embarrassed of it at first, it was always in the babies room.
one day my mom came over and dragged it out because "she just has to rock the baby"
but now its everyones favorite chair. the kids fight over it and use it as a boat or a launching pad for all kinds of tricks.

i WILL NOT buy a recliner. my parents have matching ones- i totally make fun of them, the chairs are side by side right in front of the tv.
they just scream "i'm old" . (sorry mom- you know it but don't care because by your age, its all about comfort)

so this ugly one is here to stay. my mom offered to up grade it with her pink fluffy one but the teal is growing on me.

nope- eric still hasn't painted the french doors.

room cleaned- this one. tv room. but i went to work and it some how got attacked by toys- so no pics.
outing- they actually begged me to stay home. normally they have boredom busters for 5 hours and brynly goes to mathnasium, so we didn't do a outing.
taught them to cook- Greek custard- good stuff, i got a big old greek chicken from fresh and easy for dinner so i thought this would be a good compliment. brynly did pineapple, grace strawberry, trake plain.
heres the recipe
In Greek: κρέμα βανίλια, say: KREH-mah vah-NEEL-yah

This basic milk-based no-egg creamy custard is a standard in Greek homes. Suitable for babies, it's also a favorite with children of all ages and, with the addition of fruit, can be adapted to many uses from breakfast to snack to dessert.

Like all custard dishes, this needs to be stirred continuously while cooking.

Ingredients:
1 cup + 1 1/2 cups of whole milk
6 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
4 tablespoons of corn starch
1 teaspoon of grated orange peel
Preparation:
Place 1 to 4 dessert bowls in the refrigerator to chill.

Warm one cup of milk (lukewarm), add sugar and stir to dissolve.

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine remaining milk, vanilla extract, orange peel, and cornstarch, and whisk to combine. As soon as steam begins to rise, add the sugar and milk mixture, continuing to whisk continuously.

When it starts to thicken, remove from heat.

Spoon into chilled bowls, allow to cool, and serve, or place in refrigerator and chill until ready to serve.

Serving suggestions: This is a very versatile basic custard. Add pureéed fruit to the custard immediately upon removing from heat to create a fruit custard. It can be mixed with cereals, or topped with fruit and whipped cream for a fancier look, and your own creativity will result in even more variations.
