Another crazy week.... Trake turned 10. He's a good kid, i like him.
He's a bit OCD like his dad, really likes organization and structure.
Brynly and myself drive him nuts.
Eric told him to find a really boring wife if he wants organization and structure.
Trake says he just won't get married.
He got a BB gun (figured that was a good double digit present) and Eric took him to a Diamondbacks game. He suckered Gma & Gpa into a Nintendo DS (good, those things are pricey)

Heres Easter.
The Easter bunny came then we got dressed up for church and I remembered we should talk about the TRUE meaning of Easter so we watched The Lamb of God while we came down from our sugar highs.

Brynly had a matching outfit but she lost it. don't get me started...
She hates pink so I made her wear this.
Trake also had a new tie but it was "strangling him."
(i told him to get used to ties, he's going to be passing sacrament in a few years)

I had Graces party a week late.
My car battery died so I couldn't go buy all my last min party favors.
I made a CD with kids songs.
I put Beyonces - All The Single Ladies on it - people were offended. Grace and Elsie know most of the words to it- I couldn't leave it off, they LOVE that song. Oh well, I guess you take me as I am.
Then we did a Easter egg hunt and I put $ in the eggs so the parents could take the kids to the $ store and buy their own junky party favors.
I thought those cool favors along with a pinata made a great instant party!

PICTURES....
to top off the week - we had a great photo shoot that morning with my friend Lindsay from Pied Piper Photo. She gives me a good deal but I can't seem to spend less than $200 on cute outfits for the pics so it usually comes out to be a stressful morning.
Brynly said- AH! I hate pictures you make us get our hair all done and wear fancy clothes and get all crabby when we don't smile.
ya, that was pretty much what happened.
i think they will be REALLY cute though- urban.
next week-just as crazy...stay tuned.

First off, money = best party favor EVER.

Second, Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana are way more offensive than Beyonce. I can legitimately get down to Single Ladies {and Goofy singing Mary Poppins songs... that's awesome}. But now I have to listen to all those other songs too.

You crack me up Sarah. I love the way you are-you're real.

I realized after leaving my mom's house yesterday I never picked up those train tracks. So I drove by and they were probably put back in your garage. Where is my brain? Off in outerspace somewhere that is for sure. But yes, I still want to borrow those if that's okay. I'll drive by sometime when you're home.

I love your blog, it's so "real" so you. I have to laugh at the tie thing, my son hates to wear them too. I really like the little banners around the cake stand, such a cute idea!
