Christmas 2008....we didn't buy the kids a whole lot this year but we wanted them to have a good memory.... My mom had a idea to take the rv to Usery Pass (15 min away) after we opened presents and had my traditional bday breakfast of biscuits and gravy ( i've heard this is weird..its a Idaho thing.)

Gram and gramps took the kids for a few hours so we could sleep- then we drove out to join them. it was cold and rainy- we weren't sure it was the greatest idea.

why they love camping... (i'm to the point i'm ok in a rv- no tents though)

Trake- the fire is cool. i like how the cactus thorns glow when you throw them in.

Brynly-we don't have to stay in our disaster house. you play with us and don't make us clean all the time.

Grace-i like sitting by the fire when Brynly plays her guitar. (no- she has no idea how to play it)

Elsie- likes bouncing on the bed and turning lights off and on...all night.

sarah had her typical christmas tree cake.

Eric cheated and bought the cupcakes this year.

i'm not really 31. in denial. i keep saying 29.

my kids tell everyone though.

gram and gramps went home.

we spent the night, there was a crazy windy storm- very memorable Christmas.

eric does whatever i want for my birthday without complaining (its a tradition).

i always pick something involving exercise b/c he doesn't ever exercise with me w/o complaning.

we went on a 9 mile mountain bike ride.

i could tell eric was having a hard time not complaining....sweet guy.
