30. (see the crows feet? not from years in the sun, no...years of wisdom, my dear.)
11 years married too.....

i remember when my mom turned 30, she was crying. i was 7 (i think).

i turned 30 in december...no big deal.
really i turned 30 on Christmas day, it pretty much gets forgotten.

i'm suddenly reflecting back on the years. most of which have been a blur. (i have pictures, they help remind me)

you go through a quarter life crisis of sorts (i'm living till 120 for sure).

i think its just now hitting me b/c i'm DONE having children. (don't hold me to that...you never know...pretty sure i'm done though- eric says i am with this husband)

usually when the youngest nears 2 you try and pump yourself up for the next one.
instead i'm thinking about everything i've not done.

i'm ready to be a bit selfish......
the CRISIS part is i don't know how i'm going to do it.

i don't want to go to school- to much work.
i don't want to organize my house- i don't know why, i should, but i just don't want to.

i've always exercised b/c its my job.
but i've never really just done it for ME.
so thats what i'm doing for now, i'm sure it looks a bit obsessive to others....but i'm having fun and learning new things about myself.....
while i figure out all my other "quarter life issues"

if you've done this already, the crisis part, - give me some advice. i love pearls of wisdom.

In a way don't you feel a relief of saying you are done having kids? I know that sounds bad, but i think when we decide that we are done, it will feel like, to me, when I stop nursing.... like oh wow I have a bit of my self back. Does that make sense? Well, who knows how it will feel but I can understand the "crisis" part. I think we all go through that in some way.
Your family is beautiful, you should be so proud.
ps-when are you starting your classes at 7:30pm?

Good for you for wanting to finally do something for yourself. I have no advice, since I'm not there yet. However, I also want to be DONE having children by age 29. I think I can do it. That is such a good picture of you and Eric.

We're not done having kids yet so I have no input for you.
Maybe you should take a night at a resort all to yourself, all by yourself, lounge in a tub of mud and get a massage to clear your mind.
Then remind yourself that you have the BEST job in the world, motherhood.
AND -
With the shape you are in, I can see you still traveling the world when your in your 80's. You'll be the rock climbing/hang gliding grandma that makes the news!

i'm too old to be done having children by age 30, or by age 29 like celeste said... oh well, bring on the crow's feet.
