Sedona is about 2 hours away from Mesa. It hardly ever snows there but it did this past weekend! The red rocks looked pretty cool with snow.
My mom gets really good deals on timeshares. So she goes away for a week or so at a time and I tend to tag along for a few days. Eric can't get out of work so I bring all the kids. I've learned that its not a good idea to try and do much with the kids. I really just enjoy not HAVING to clean or drive kids around. Even if I just sit around at the resort.
The snow kept the kids entertained for a long time. They've only seen it a couple times.
Have you ever played a good game of raquetball with 4 kids? Ya, me neither.
I really didn't think it would be very cold so we had to drive 30 miles to Cottonwood to get to a Walmart (Buying stuff in Sedona is much to pricey) and I got some winter clothes. The outfits were a little crazy!

what a fun get-away. i've been wanting to take ava to the snow for some time now, but have yet to do so. i better hurry before it all melts!
