On the boat ride out to Alcatraz. I went with Rena.

She had been coming to my yoga classes for awhile and is fairly crazy. 

 Shes doing IRONMAN.

When I had the Alcatraz idea she was the only one remotely interested in doing it with me. 

I taught her kids swim lessons all summer and she used her credit card points to pay for the whole trip!

Eric probably wouldn't have let me go if I didn't find a way to get it paid for.

When I was 12 years old.. SWIM ALCATRAZ was added to my bucket list. 

Husband thought it  was a dumb reason to go off for the weekend and spent $1000!

He wasn't concerned about sharks.

Eric thought if they are letting you do it- there must not be many shark attacks.....good point.
