i think about updating my blog and get overwhelmed b/c i'm SO far behind. So I'll just do what I can.
The kids did a ton of stuff this summer- water polo, diving, synchro, art worshops, drama theater, preschool

I didn't really get many pics ok...I didn't get any. I was pretty much on survival mode.
get them to a activity, hurry home to work, put on some clothes go back to watch the activity.
Having said that....this was probably the easiest summer so far. wanna know why....
ELSIE is 2 1/2. NO BABY.
I think i'll be a really good mom of older kids.
I know its busy but i think the ...baby stage is the hardest, especially when your busy.

Beach vacation...I was about at the breaking point the day before my vacation...good thing it finally came.

So fun, my friend Syd let me borrow her kayak. I paddle all over the ocean.

Its a bit tricky getting it out past the waves....it tips over. My mom was in it and the wave crashed over them, throwing them out...I was on the ground laughing- HILARIOUS. she gave up after that.

This actually made things lots easier. She slept like this for 3 hours.

Grace made friends with a cute Oriental family in a pimped out Airstream. (i want one). She just goes up to them and says HI FIRENDS. They don't have cousins close by so I'm glad they are outgoing.

Brynly made a few friends to- the first thing she asks is "what church do you go to?" She tells them shes Mormon- have they heard of it? HA! good missionary.
Trake got trashed bodysurfing. A huge wave crashed over him and the rocks scratched him up. I told him- your now a true bodysurfer- get back out there and do it again..he sighed and hit it again.

All my pull-ups paid off! I was rocking on the rowing, all over the ocean. If you can do pull-ups it will make you stronger in every upper body activity.
