i've been snowboarding 16 times in my whole life.

14 times the first year out of high school when i worked at ski pro.

#15 1999- i took eric, put him in ski school with 12 year olds- he LOVES to tell this story.

10 years go by...work a lot, have a bunch of kids, blah, blah.

#16 i go snowboarding with my dad and kids- i'm pretty sure this make me not cool.

i went to ski pro tues night and see guys that are STILL working there from when i was there.

single, ski bums - but they sure are having fun.

boarding 3 days a week. no obligations.

i tell them i haven't been for 10 years and show them my cool vintage burton board, they try to get me to go to Bear Creek with them on Thurs!

guys, i'm married. 4 kids. i'm pretty sure this is the only time i'm going this year.

i'm one of those responsible adults, ever heard of them?

sure we have but thats why were working here- we don't want to do it.

suddenly 31 didn't seem that old anymore

i showed them that in just 10 years i have snowboarders to go with and they are MY FAMILY- not some guys using you for gas $.

i did no good they'll live the life as long as they can.
