I don't usually post pictures of the parties my kids attend but this one deserves a post for a few reasons... it was at home depot. classic. no ponies or clowns just a fork lift.
the kid loves street sweepers, vacuums and fork lifts.
i try to convince him he supposed to like trains.

free party. home depot thinks of it as community service.
i must say- a birthday party for 5 year olds is quite the community service project.
the candles look like nails.
did they have party hats? no.
did they dance with chuckie? no.
they didn't even whack a pinata.
they made a leaf press, i never knew there was such thing.
i'm also posting these pics because Emily's sister is a photographer.
yes, i know, everyone is a photographer. but she really actually works for one and i thought she took cute pics of Grace.

Grace really likes hammering now.
i told her to put on her home depot apron so we could cook something and she said
"no mom-we need to hammer with that apron".
we hammered holes in jar lids-now i can sprout grains.
check the healthy blog- i'm on a RAW food kick now.

What a great idea for a birthday party. And it looks like it was so hands-on. Too fun. Yeah, seriously who isn't a photographer nowadays? Crazy.
