i once read that if you give your baby caffeinated soda its like giving them crack. (it was in a health food book)
a bit of advice- letting your toddler sip your soda during a movie in hopes of having her sit through the movie- is going to backfire. elsie trippin' on diet coke.
you think i'd learn. after 4 kids. it's not a good idea to try and take them ANYWHERE,especially a movie.
i'm being super mom this week though, so my kids think they had a fun filled summer!

in case you didn't know...Narnia is 2 and 1/2 hours. a little long for a toddler and 4 yr old. thank goodness it was only the dollar theater.
i even tried taking them school clothes shopping before the movie, not easy with my gimpy foot. Elsie can now outrun me. and she did, in the mall and the movie theater.

you know what??? i've been to only about 8 movies since we've been married(10 years)
it's my self diagnosed ADD i think. i can't sit that long. i get bored and fidgety. Eric always falls asleep so we just don't go.

grandpa gets suckered into taking the kids, so don't worry about them being movie theater neglected. i'm certainly not doing it again.

tomorrow-i was thinking ice skating but i don't think my foot can handle it.
