Ali, won the biggest loser- Betty Sues daughter. Ali did synchro with myself and some of the other coaches way LONG ago, so Betty came to the watershow.
(I guess Ali is SUPER busy with her 15 min of fame, traveling all over.)
It was really cool. She talked about how Ali was a awesome swimmer but gave up on her dreams when she was a teenager. Thats when she started gaining all her weight.

She told us how you can do ANYTHING if you really want to. Theres no excuse if you try your hardest. WORK,WORK, WORK!
Her grandma (sitting with the cane) said Ali is SO NICE now. She was so unhappy being heavy that she was just mean. She didn't want other people to be happy, so she woold just be nasty. Shes a whole new person now, so much better self esteem.
Then a funny/interesting story: She was going up to the stage on the last weigh in show and tripped over the camera mans cord. She fell on her face and it started bleeding! They went to commercial and cleaned her up but she had a HUGE red shiny cheek when they did her final weigh in.
She said she'll be making ALOT of money off NBC from that one.
Our watershow announcer used Betty Sue as a segway to the dads routine- NOW, THE NEXT SEASONOF BIGGEST LOSERS- THE Desert dolphin Dads!
